Research & Clinical Studies
Epithalon and Telomerase Activity
In vitro studies using human fetal fibroblast cultures observed that epithalon treatment was associated with changes in telomerase activity (TRAP assay) and extended replicative capacity beyond the Hayflick limit.
Epithalon and Melatonin Secretion
Studies in aged non-human primates observed that epithalon administration was associated with changes in nocturnal melatonin peak levels, suggesting an interaction with pineal gland signaling pathways.
